A several hundred square mile area around Whitehorse is the locale for Dall Sheep, Moose, Caribou, Stone Sheep, Brown Bear, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Wolves and more. You may spot game from a boat and stalk on foot or hunt on horseback out of remote mountain camps. The hunting season runs from August 1 to November 30. Horseback hunts usually end by mid-October due to weather. All packages are from Whitehorse and include: ground transportation from hotel to float plane, lodging, meals, boat, motor and gas where applicable, guide service. Not included are license, tag, trophy fees, float plane from Whitehorse to camp (approx. $245/person/trip, one way.), crating, shipping, handling and taxidermy.
