Watch
thousands of geese at day break. Descend to the decoys in one of the
many thousands of acres of fields available to hunt.
Snow goose populations are incredible, and bag limits are high to
allow you plenty of opportunity for shooting. Canada geese are also
plentyful in the area.
Hunt cypress swamps, highland creeks and saltwater marsh ponds for
Mallards, Woodies, Blacks and other species of ducks.
The cord grass marshes of the Eastern Shore are home to the elusive
and rare Sika Deer. Listen to these miniature elk bugleing neer by
and the sloshing of their hooves as they move closer to your tree
stand.
The Eastern Shore also has a large population of Whitetail Deer with
many large buck being taken every season. Archery, rifle and muzzleloader
hunts are all available.
One of the best kept secrets of the Eastern Shore is the vast number
of Turkeys available to the serious Turkey hunter. Nothing can get
the blood pumping more than to hear ten gobblers sound off to your
call at day break. And, don't forget, you can harvest two Turkeys
per season in Maryland.
